Explain how Cellphones have become an ever-present feature in today’s college classrooms. So far, there has been little research on the impact of cell-phone use. Instructors vary in their policies from no policy, to incorporating the cellphone into their instruction (e.g., text-based polling), to prohibiting their use in the classroom. A study by Lee et al. (2017) explored the impact of cellphone policies on learning and emotional regulation.

4. Why did they use a video-recorded lecture? What is the potential impact of this design?
5. Who were the participants in the study? Do you think the findings would be the same if it was a biology or math course?
6. To whom can these findings be generalized? Explain.
7. Have other researchers found similar results? Are the finding of this study similar to other studies on this topic? Discuss other evidence about the use of technology in college classroom and the impact of technology on student learnin
