The main challenge of this assignment is taking good notes as you read and review your selected sources with your research questions and purpose in mind. The final document is a series of eight (8) 200-250-word summaries of the best sources in your working bibliography, each identified by an APA style citation and followed by a separate, brief paragraph explaining how the source contributes to your research. This series of bibliographic entries will be organized alphabetically by APA citation and introduced by a summary (or “abstract”) of the whole document. This is the most labor-intensive assignment in the course although each component is relatively brief compared with the time and effort involved. We will approach this assignment incrementally—that is by drafting it in parts, then putting those parts together.
Requirements: Multiple Discussions documenting writing-in-progress, including an abstract, and at least one complete progress draft. Final document in 7th edition APA style.
Select (based on Assignment 2) the best 8-10 sources in your working bibliography (Assignment 1)
Read those 8-10 sources strategically with your research questions (Assignment 1) in mind
Summarize, analyze, and evaluate eight of those selected sources in two paragraphs (200-250 words each) for each source
Present your writing about your sources as an Annotated Bibliography
