PROPOSAL:
Abortion legalisation has been a controversial in the United States. Pro-choicers
propose that women should have their own right and freedom to make the decision for their body while pro-lifers argue that abortion is murdering. I plan to find out what causes such a great controversy between pro-choice and pro-life positions. I plan to investigate if abortion is morally right or wrong. I plan to analyze this topic with key concepts like ethical subjectivism and utilitarianism. I will consider the viewpoints of stakeholders such as the mother and the fetus. I will also examine this ethical issue from the perspective of pro-choice and pro-life positions. Does abortion count as murdering? Should the mother have the right to decide the life of the fetus? Does abortion mean trivializing lives?
