Do they in any way relate to the consequences of childhood obesity?

You will select an area in the field of childhood obesity to produce a scholarly paper. The paper will be graded based on
1. The use of current scientific literature (50%)
2. The ability to conceptualize this literature in a concise and coherent matter (10%)
3. The appropriate use of citations and references (10%)
4. The use of scientific reasoning to draw conclusions (10%)
5. Overall readability (10%)
6. The ability to concisely summarize the findings of the entire paper (10%).

You can select any topic related in some way to childhood obesity. That includes causes, consequences, measurement, treatment, and prevention topics. You must select a fairly specific topic in one of those areas (i.e. ‘Causes of Childhood Obesity’ is not an acceptable topic; it needs to focus on a particular cause or set of causes).

The paper will need to be 5-10 pages and incorporate 7-10 scholarly references. A title page and bibliography need to be included, as well. You can use APA format, and must include in-text citations.

(Side note)
I haven’t picked a topic, and its up to you, but I was thinking maybe something related to parental influence on childhood obesity. Like does over-caring for children cause obesity? Or does parental neglect? Do they in any way relate to the consequences of childhood obesity?
My teacher said out topic can’t be too broad or too specific.
