First, you need to pick a work of art to critique. Using the links below, find an artwork and make sure you copy down the description (artist, title, medium, date, size, and a brief description of what you see.)

To follow Feldman’s Model, you’ll need to organize your essay according to the format in the attached template. Download the template and outline your paper by jotting down notes about your artwork in each section.

Once you have a good plan for your paper, start putting it together in paragraph form. Your essay should follow Feldman’s model, with a paragraph for each of the four sections. Each paragraph should be at least 5-7 sentences long. It can be longer, and you can break it into multiple paragraphs per section (i.e. two paragraphs for interpretation) if necessary.
