Each student is expected to select and research two health policies and do a comparative analysis of the policies. The issue may be related to a policy topic from your textbook or a current policy issue that is the subject of a public healthcare debate. Discuss their outcomes, including ethical standards, protection of privacy, law and regulation in healthcare delivery.
The results of your research should be compiled and presented in a typed document. Papers should adhere to the following:
Cover page
Double-spaced lines
A minimum of 6-pages but not more than 10 (this does not include the title
and bibliography pages)
12-point font
Left-justified
Follow APA style (7th edition) guidelines
Format
All papers should adhere to this format:
Introduction
Statement of the problem or issue to be studied
Survey of related literature (articles, summary of books, or research that is
associated with your study issue, or that provides some historical foundation)
Implications, conclusions, and/or recommendations for management decisions
based on your research
Bibliography (contains appropriate citations and annotations)
To allow for sufficient research time, study topic/issue should be selected and approved by the instructor no later than Sunday, March 27th. Be sure to contact the instructor for assistance if you have difficulty selecting a study topic/issue.
