As Americans we are taught to appreciate nature and enjoy it for its beauty. We also see real value in the peace, calmness and natures ability to ground and center us.
However Native Americans has had a more in-depth relationship with Nature and rely on nature for all important areas of their life.
What were the views, how were they different , how were they alike. This topic will be relatable to the environmental thinker of Henry David Thoreau.
Will this research conclude that Native American views of Nature were different of Thoreau or will they be more similar in their appreciation for Nature.
