In the lift, I overheard a conversation between two people in uniform. They were discussing a patient they were caring for and stated the patients location, their home address and reason for admission. A mobile phone rang and one of the people in uniform answered it. They were speaking with a member of the care team and gave a patients personal information about their condition.
A visitor got into the lift and asked one of the people in uniform how their relative was, I was surprised to hear them tell them without checking who they were. As everyone was stood closely together, I could also see the other person in uniform reading notes about a patient, anyone could have looked at them.
As I exited the lift, I heard one of the people in uniform ask the other to log them out of the computer, they had left it unlocked and were going for lunch.
I was quite shocked to hear and see what happened, a lift is a confined space, there was no privacy at all.
