The purpose of the group project is to apply & extend your understanding of strategy concepts taught in class to a contemporary organization of your choice. Your group will provide a comprehensive strategy analysis about your chosen company and how the companys situation can be better understood by applying key principles of strategy analysis from the course. Remember that your goal is not to produce a biography of the firm, but to come up with a narrow set of theses which address a central challenge the company is facing. You should use course concepts & frameworks to identify the challenge and to develop the analysis and recommendations. You will need to collect secondary data (industry data, company financial information, media reports, expert reviews, analyst recommendations etc.), analyze this data, and provide compelling evidence to substantiate your claims.
