The Project: Restoration of Rembrandt’s ‘Night Watch’
In 2019, the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam launched a project to restore a famous painting by Rembrandt. The painting is over 350 years old and has been vandalized in the past. The museum decided to embark on an extensive restoration and conservation project using state-of-the-art (ha! that was a pun!) technology.
The project is currently underway and has not yet been completed.
Let’s wind back the clock to the start of this project. A Charter has been prepared and requirements have been collected. It is time to prepare additional scope planning documents: a Scope Statement, a BRD, a WBS, and a WBS Dictionary.
