The purpose of this study is to evaluate the link between aggression amongst spectators. Specifically, the study will focus on two types of aggression hostile aggression and instrumental aggression. The objective is to evaluate the aggression while spectators are watching a sporting event. Along with this I will also measure shyness amongst individuals to see how it can affect aggression.

Even for less violent sports (such as baseball, or tennis), high identification with the team is likely to lead to high arousal levels, thus increasing the possibility of violence/aggression.]
[then, transition to shyness, etc…. Although these types of high arousal situations may increase aggression, and possibly violence, among some individuals, it will not have the same effect on everyone. For instance, people who are high/low in (something) may be more/less affected. Etc.]
