Read the handout on Writing a Proposal (an Abstract).
At least one typewritten page in length (MLA format).
The proposal should state what the paper will cover and may include the
questions and areas of study supplied by the instructor.
Substantial research must be completed before writing the proposal.
Submit the proposal according to the schedule.
