Critical review – Piagets Cognitive Developmental Theory of child development

The biggest criticism of Piagets theory is that the stages of development that he is proposing are too static and they are discontinuous. Some cognitive theorists argue that cognitive development is not a discontinuous, stage-like process but instead is a continuous process. I would need 250 words that would argue, with evidence, that development is continuous and that Piagets stage approach has limitations.
