o The paper should be 3-5 pages in length (In addition to these 3-5 pages the
paper should include a Title Page and a Bibliography).
o The paper is to be double spaced and set in size 12 Times New Roman or Calibri
fonts.
o The paper should be written in Turabian style and use footnotes (not endnotes).
o The paper should include at least 5 scholarly sources.
o Note that scholarly in this instance refers to works that (1) have been
produced by experts in the field and (2) have been peer reviewed.
Therefore, sources such as Wikipedia, got questions, Bibleinfo, etc.,
which allow anyone to write and edit the text, will not be accepted.
o This is a position paper which should argue a thesis. Research papers are
neither book reports (in which a person parrots the plot of a Biblical story) nor
are they encyclopedia articles (in which a person lists all the facts they know
about a subject). Research papers aim to answer a research question and, after
doing the appropriate research to discover the answer, persuade the reader of
their thesis.
