I have all of the relevant materials in an online textbook which will need to be referenced.
My chosen company is Walgreens Boots Alliance in the Healthcare Sector. I need to write a 10 page paper, and present for 10 minutes on the following:
Corporate Finance is best learned by analyzing a real company. All of you will be assigned a sector of your choice ( Energy, Materials, Industrials, Consumer Discretionary, Consumer Staples, Healthcare, Financials, Information Technology, Communication Services, Utilities, and Real Estate). Once you have identified the sector and the company, you will also identify 4 or 5 peers of that same company. Each week I will expect a short discussion on your company and its peers on the topic that we are discussing. These discussions over the course of 7 weeks will form a report that you are going to submit. The aim of the project is to understand whether the company under question is making the right decisions relative to its peers. For the final submission I am expecting a 10-15 page report and a 10-15 minute presentation (in-person or video) on what the company is doing right, the mistakes they are making and areas that have room for improvement.
