Conflict Analysis

My major or discipline is Peace and Conflict Analysis and Resolution. I have attached the instructions below. The title of the film is in the instructions, but the short clip the teacher is referring to is the part where the son (in red jacket) is confronting his parents. The mother is on the stairs and the father is sitting. The son said something to his dad (couldnt hear exactly) and the dad responded you learn when youre older, Jim. And the son replied I dont think Im gonna learn that way. The mother intervened well, it dont matter anyway because were moving. -Son: youre not tearing me loose again. -Father: oh, this is news to me, why are we moving? -Mother: oh, do I have to spell it out? -Son: you are not going to use me as an excuse again! -Mother: I dont. -Son: Every time you cant face yourself, you blame it on me. -Mother: thats us not true. -Son: you say its because of me, you say its because of the neighborhood; you use every other phony excuse. Mom, I just, once, I wanna do something right. And I dont want you to run away from me again. The clip goes all the way to where the son fights his father and then walks out the door. And right before he walks out, he kicks his moms big portrait. And the parents ran to the door to see him go.
Unfortunately i couldnt upload the video clip due to format restrictions on this page.
