Compare and analyze three important works created in the genre you have chosen, including one that typifies the genre and with which the genre is closely identified.
Alternatively, you may choose to examine three works in the same medium and consider what that medium typifies (print, video, audio, etc.). Examine how the three works conform to and depart from the conventions of the genre or medium, and evaluate their successes, failures, and overall achievements. Indicate which of the three works you prefer, and explain in detail the reasons for your choice. If you use V for Vendetta or Night of the Living Dead, you may opt to compare it in more detail to only one other work in the same genre.
