This is a research assignment related to Photography. You must include images with image citations along with your text.
Choose an individual set of images in ‘The Couch’ by Julia Chang-Lomonico.
Here there may be no theme as such, however, consider the relationship with the layout of the image in the space.
The layout of images and text is up to you – bear in mind it is approx 1 page.
You will write an overall response to ‘The Couch’ by selecting no less than 5 images to discuss.
You must include the selected images in your paper, with image citations (author, date, title, and other relevant information the image may come with.
The PDF is no large than 2MB.

Your visual research will consider the following points:
– Context: who made the images/ date made/ location/country
– What drew you to the images?
– What technical aspects do you recognise?
– Do the images ‘work’ or ‘not work’ as a photograph/series/exhibition – why?
– What unique characteristics has the photographer used to capture your attention (framing, crop, colour etc)?
– What emotion does the photograph evoke – how do ‘feel’ when encountering the image?
– Are there any questions that arise from viewing the image/s /exhibition?
The visual research response should be approximately 1 page long with a final word count of approximately 500 words.
This requires to be clear and succinct.
