At the end of Week 3, you will submit Word Document Paper, and a PowerPoint presentation demonstrating that you have critically analyzed a newspaper and/or business journal article(s) regarding a business issue/problem pertinent to your interests.
* Choose an article from the last two (2) months from a reputable source (Crains, New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Economist, Reuters, Bloomberg, and an electronic business journal from the SPS online library, etc.). You will create a 2 to 3 page write up of the article which will provide (a) summary of the issues, (b) who or what the issue affects, (c) potential solutions, or lingering problems. You may provide additional sources regarding your potential solutions/problems write-up.
* The paper should be double-spaced, with 1-inch margins, in 12-point Times Roman Font, and submitted as a Microsoft Word document.
In addition, you will submit and prepare a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation (5 to 7 slides total) covering the information in your paper based on your article.
*You must include a reference list at the end of your presentation and cite your sources throughout using APA standards.
*Your submitted project will be processed via SafeAssign to detect plagiarism. Copying material exactly or very closely from any source without using quotation marks and citing your source is plagiarism and will result in an automatic zero on the assignment.
*Late submissions will result in point deductions or a ZERO grade. Submission is due on the last day of class. Since this is an accelerated course, grades will go in soon after the last day of class. If you believe you will be late in your submission or are having challenges, please notify me IN ADVANCE so we can work around the issue.
