choose a topic that isn’t too broad (e.g., “Space Weather”) or too narrow (e.g., “Solar Weather Effects on Jupiter’s Moon Io”).

Choose one aspect of space weather that particularly interests you. This week, you’ll submit your chosen topic for approval by the instructor. This topic approval assignment is worth 4% of your overall course grade. Your challenge will be to choose a topic that isn’t too broad (e.g., “Space Weather”) or too narrow (e.g., “Solar Weather Effects on Jupiter’s Moon Io”).

Your assignment will be to create a presentation on your chosen topic (which will be due by the last day of the course). This can be either in the form of a website, PowerPoint-style presentation, audio/visual presentation, or a combination of these.

The project should contain a variety of multimedia in addition to text.

Your presentation must include a title slide, an outline, and a list of references/sources at the end. Wikipedia is not an acceptable source for your projects (although it can be used as a guide to locate further information).

Because the project is worth 12% of your course grade, it should be well organized, detailed, clear, easy to follow, and informative.
