As a teacher, you will design questioning for critical thinking regularly for your content instruction. You will do this in many ways, choosing questions for many purposes and contexts. You must determine how to provide ways in which all students can think and learn equitably. In this assignment, you will practice applying the 10 functions and types of questions to your own content area, and best of all, it will be presentable to your grade level team!
Choose a content-specific topic or concept that you might teach in your classroom.
Have the content area be for reading instruction in a kindergarten classroom
Create a 12- to 15-slide presentation for your kindergarten or content area team in which you share best practices for the use of quality questioning in critical thinking instruction. Complete the following in your presentation:

Develop a question related to your chosen topic or concept for each quality question type, including identifying the Blooms level of knowledge.
Describe 5 strategies to support, accommodate, and include students with different learning needs (e.g., IEPs or 504 plans, levels of language proficiency) in quality questioning and critical thinking discussions.
Create a minimum 350-word resource of quick tips for integrating quality questioning into your grade-level or content areas critical thinking instruction.
Submit your presentation and resource.
