Case study : A young female teacher has reputation for sending a latino male student William to the office every day for discipline purposes. The principal addresses the matter with the teacher and asks the counselor to help by consulting with the teacher. Through several consultation meetings with the teacher, the counselor becomes aware of the teacher’s negative stereotypes and assumptions about William. in Consultation, the counselor states her concerns about the teacher’s biased attitudes toward Latino males.
