“Attitudes About Death”

After reading the reading assignment for this module and particularly the section “Attitudes About Death” in the online textbook, think about the the factors (social, cultural, ethnic, familial, life experiences) that have influenced your attitudes about death. As you consider these factors, think about how your attitudes differ from those of other cultures or experiences.

Your writing assignment is to complete an essay in which you discuss how your attitudes have been influenced by the factors mentioned above, and compare and contrast your attitudes with those of other cultures or ethnic groups, those you have learned about in the reading assignment and/or individuals with whom you have had contact. Your essay should include a title page, plus at least 2 full pages of text. When making references to information from the textbook readings or other sources, you should include in-text citations and a reference page listing the sources used. Be sure to double space your assignment.

Your assignment will be graded on the extent to which you include the required elements for the focus of your writing, and to the extent that your essay is clearly and coherently written. Please review the rubric for this assignment prior to completing this assignment.
