My first part of the thesis is focused on the risk factors of atrial fibrillation post CABG, I am interested in writing the results part for this study group, I will attach the material and methods part as well as the excel data file and the statistical analyses done with all the tests and impotant results (there is a discssion at the end of this part but it is only a reference and not to be used as a summary for all the tests).
These are my mentor’s instructions:
Try to be as concise and clear as possible. Do not simply copy the tables with the statistical analyses in the manuscript. Try to present the data in a structured manner, providing only the most relevant statistical parameters. You can use other papers as guide see how data are presented in the text, tables, and figures.
Use tables and figures/diagrams whenever you can to better represent the results. Do not duplicate data what is written in the text should not appear in the tables/figures and vice versa.
Present the data in two sections (1) Potential predictors of NOAF and (2) Impact of NOAF on in-hospital post-CABG outcomes.
I am not aware of how long this would be, I was told this part should be between 4-8 pages so if the writer exceeds the 5 pages to fully follow the instructions to please let me know how they would like to proceed when they start working on it (if they need more pages) so I can make arrangements.
The writer needs to have some experience with data presentation and analysis (tables/figures/Diagrams) for research/thesis purpose .
