ENG252 Annotated Bibliography Assignment
Directions: Students are to research and compose an annotated bibliography consisting of six entries on an appropriate literary topic (topics discussed below). In an annotated bibliography, the student researches and reads an article from a literary journal or a chapter from a book on a particular primary source (primary sources are those works assigned to you each week by famous authors); this article or chapter should be an essay of critical interpretation or literary analysis. Then, the student will construct an entry that consists of the following:
A. Bibliographic information written in MLA form
B. A detailed paragraph of summary
C. A paragraph of reaction, personal response, students opinion of the articles or chapters effectiveness, etc.
