Are western gorillas more social in captivity or in the wild?

The purpose of this assignment is to eventually write an APA paper. It is a group project and we are each assigned a role. My section is the Rationale & Methodology portion. The attached materials give directions on what to write about.

So far the paper is about an animal we chose– the western gorilla! we picked 5 behaviors that we observed and now we have to write a research proposal.
