Introduction
Definition of EMA
The major areas for the application for EMA are:
Product pricing
Budgeting
Investment appraisal
Savings and environmental projects, targets
EMA allows the companies to identify, collect and analyse information in order to support internal environmental management process. This could include water and power consumption or waste management, depending on type of organisation. These includes evaluating environmental use, calculating costs and monitor future performance. Burritt is using accounting framework and EMA can be measured by using monetary and physical information.
