Here are reasons why I choose to apply for this course.
In recent years, many families have moved to other countries due to certain reasons. As an educator raised in Hong Kong and proud of being a Hong Konger, I hope I could know how to let the next generations of Hong Kong families in foreign places to understand the unique culture and identity of Hong Kong through words, theatre, drama, films, music and museums.
BL dramas go viral around the world and they draw my attention to lgbtq+ representation in modern dramas, movies and musics. I hope to investigate the way how we promote gender equality and love to the world and the next generation.
Kings College London is a prestigious college known around the world and its reputation in cultural managments and education sectors is almost the best. And UK will be country that welcomes Hong Kongers and a cultural hub allowing multiple voices.
