Part 3 (200 words minimum): The history of medicine and biological psychology is shocking, including ethical and physical horrors along with astonishing technologies and insights. Please answer the following questions:

– What invasive surgical or research methods were used, with or without consent, on people or animals in the earlier forms of research on the nervous system?
– What did these teach us or fail to teach us about human thought, emotion, or behavior?
– What are the ethical and cultural issues related to these procedures? (e.g. who was experimented on vs. who received the benefits of the procedures?
