Use the same company that you have been working with all term. This assignment will have two parts: a written paper and an infographic.
Part 1: Research and find 3 compatible acquisitions. Analyze the pros/cons of each, pick one and argue for one to the board. You should consider the companys pattern of acquisitions. In what function of the firm will the innovation be implemented: Administrative, Technical, Product, or Process? What potential benefits will the firm gain? What potential losses should the company guard against? This assignment should describe a clear vision of planning and implementation for the integration of the two firms. Explain the challenges of integrating the culture of each firm. Explain how this creates a competitive advantage for the new firm. What types of goals/results should the company look for?
Part 2: This assignment will demonstrate that you can clearly articulate a project management plan. Create an Infographic that demonstrates either a) the new technology project that you described in your previous paper, OR, b) the process you will follow to integrate the two firms. (You may use any form of Infographic but you may find some helpful templates on Piktochart at: https://piktochart.com/formats/infographics/)
Writing Assignments: For each written assignment, submit a 3-4 page essay using the provided writing template and follow 6th edition APA writing conventions. This assignment also requires the submission of an infographic. A minimum of three (3) references is required. (See Rubric).
