Hamlets perceptions of human nature and others.
Motives. Deal with who does what, but more importantly why they do it. Determine the general nature of characters motives in the play.
Analyze the business of Advice who gives it to whom? Why? Purpose? So what?
Have a look at Love/Hate as dichotomous, but co-existing emotions.
Consider the images of Nature and the unnatural. What do they mean? What are their purposes?

Choose three different reasons to explain WHY or HOW your topic is developed in the play. These will serve as the three supporting arguments of your thesis.

Ask yourself how does your topic contribute to character development, plot development, to the audiences experience and/or understanding of the play, and/or the classification of this play as a tragedy?

Find 2 examples (Proofs) direct quotes or paraphrased in the text to use as evidence for each of your three arguments. You will only use Hamlet for this assignment there will not be outside sources. You do not need to include a Works Cited page, but you must have properly formatted in-text citations for direct and paraphrased quotes.
