You will write the essay on “The Yellow Wallpaper” by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. You will cite evidence and texts from the yellow wallpaper in MLA format. you will include tone, subject, characterization, symbolism, conflict, various literary devices, speaker, audience, dialogue, allegory, inference, and irony, along with other rhetorical appeals ethos, pathos, and logos, think about how and why a written text works (or doesn’t work) rhetorically. You will also use another (any) rhetorical analysis on the yellow wallpaper from others and also use evidence from that and cite. Have 1000 to 1500 words (that’s roughly 3 to 5 pages).
