PROJECT GUIDELINES

Develop a professional PowerPoint utilizing the outline below and the grading rubric.

You can post the PowerPoint in Canvas or make a pdf version of the slides with notes. Notes must be used to expand the content. The notes on each slide must support the information on that specific slide. Hints for PowerPoint slides can be found at Tips for Making Effective PowerPoint Presentations (Links to an external site.). There are other tips regarding the development of PowerPoint presentations in the course resources. Please use every resource available to you.

Visit and explore the National Institutes of Health All of Us Research Programs website (Links to an external site.). This website has a large amount of information and you must search through the pages and even watch a few short videos to obtain all the needed information.

The PowerPoint Project must address the following topics:

What is the All of Us Research Program?
Describe the objectives of the All of Us Program.
Discuss the core values of All of Us.
What are the reasons that you would or would not be involved in the All of Us program?
What are safeguards built into the All of Us program to protect private health information?
Discuss the importance of diversity in regard to the All of Us Program.
What are specific diverse populations included in the program?
Give a current example of precision medicine and how it is being used in healthcare. Is it currently being used in your practice/facility? If so, how? In not, how could it be used in the future in your practice?
How are All of Us and associated entities research being disseminated to recruit participants (i.e. social media, webpages, etc.)?
What resources are available to you as a professional RN to disseminate the All of Us research?
General Information:

APA Style formatting is required. There must be a title slide with the students name and required title page information; an objective slide; content slides with appropriate citations; references slide formatted appropriately double-spaced with hanging indent. If needed, additional reference slides may be included. Images used must be cited on the reference page.
The PowerPoint presentation should have no more than 12 slides excluding title, objectives, and reference slides.
