The Assassination of Caius Julius Caesar
Plutarch, Antony http://classics.mit.edu/Plutarch/antony.html (Links to an external site.)
Suetonius, Caesar http://www.fordham.edu/halsall/ancient/suetonius-julius.html (Links to an external site.)
After reading the two accounts of the career and death of Julius Caesar, were Caesars assassins justified in killing him to remove a tyrant and save the republic, or did they kill a man who was reforming the republic in order to save it? Be sure to give ample evidence from Plutarchs and Suetonius texts to support your assertions.
