Introduction
Social work is a noble profession that aims to address social injustices and advocate for vulnerable populations. Throughout history, various social issues have emerged, demanding the attention and intervention of social workers. One such issue that has fostered my interest in social work is homelessness. This essay will discuss the relevance of homelessness as a current social issue, elaborate on my decision to pursue graduate social work study, and highlight my career interests and objectives. Additionally, I will explain why I wish to attend Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Service and how I plan to leverage the resources available at the institution to achieve my goals.

My Interest in Social Work
My decision to pursue a graduate degree in social work is rooted in my passion for social justice and my desire to contribute to positive change in society.
