Guiding Questions
Description: Below are a set of guiding questions that are intended to support you as you prepare and write your practice candidacy written essay.
In relation to the candidacy question, did you:
Address the original understandings and contributions of multicultural education?
Offer a comprehensive understanding of the critiques to multicultural education?
Offer, at minimum, four epistemological and/or theoretical contributions that better address issues of inequity in schooling?
In relation to writing conventions, did you:
Write an introduction that gives your reader a sense of what the essay is about and the directions you will take in the essay?
Use transition sentences that link prior sections of your essay to the current one?
Use clear headings and subheadings (APA style) to help readers understand your overarching thoughts and ideas?
Rely on language that was accessible/readable by audiences beyond academia?
Demonstrate to readers a clear understanding and synthesis of the citations used relying on a mixture of direct quotations as well as paraphrasing of ideas from scholars?
Offer a concluding section that demonstrated your general argument, synthesis, and main points you would like your readers to more readers more fully absorb?
In relation to references and in-text citations, did you:
Apply APA 7th edition formatting when including in-text citations?
Apply APA 7th edition when creating your reference list?
Rely on, at minimum, 15 different references?

2- Multicultural education Critiques. /1.5 page/
3- four epistemological and/or theoretical contributions that better address issues of inequity in schooling (critical Multiculturalism /1page/, Critical race theroy, Anti-racist ideologies, and Intersectionality )
I will upload my college paper as a sample but be careful because its only 6 students doing this paper so the instructor will compare between the papers.
