A study on Malaysias current status of solar photovoltaic technology implementation including its potential impacts, prospects and barriers towards sustainable development

Please refer to attached assignment brief and approved research ethics for paper details.

Aim:
The purpose of this study is to identify the existing condition of implementing solar photovoltaic technology in Malaysia. The consequences inclusive of the expectations and limits of such implementation towards sustainable development in Malaysia will be further investigated to determine if carbon-neutral or carbon footprint reduction is achievable.

Objectives:
1. To identify the current status of solar PV technology implementation among different renewable energy schemes introduced by Malaysias government.
2. To assess and quantify main factors to implement the solar PV system in Malaysia.
3. To distinguish the benefits of solar PV system adoption in Malaysia.
4. To explore the potential environmental impacts of solar PV system implementation in Malaysia.
5. To examine the prospects and barriers of solar PV technology development towards carbon-neutral or carbon footprint reduction pathways in Malaysia.
