1. At school, at work, and at play, we often have to work in teams or groups in order to achieve our goals. Think of some attributes that make a good team player, whether it be in a sport, at work, or at school when working in groups. Then, write an essay to explain three or more characteristics that make a person a good team player.
2. People have many admirable character traits, such as courageous, enthusiastic, compassionate, shy, friendly, sensitive…the list could go on and on. Define character traits you have. There are hundreds of adjectives we can use to describe our nature or personality. Choose three adjectives (words) that describe you perfectly. Write an essay giving examples of how each word accurately fits your personality.
3. The French playwright, Molire, wrote, The greater the obstacle the more glory in overcoming it. Have you ever had to overcome something difficult in your life? Think about your lifes story. Write a narration of one great difficulty you experienced in your life and share the details of three strategies that helped you to overcome the difficulty.
4. A role model is a person you look up tosomeone you respect or admire more than anyone else. Who is your role model? Your grandpa? Youth pastor? Coach? Aunt, Sister, Friend? Teacher? Mother? What have you learned from this person? Which of their character qualities or traits do you hope to one day have yourself? Write an essay explaining how this individual has influenced who you are today.
