TOPIC: Military withdrawal from Afghanistan. This September, our nation will mark the 20th anniversary of 9/11. In addition and after 20 years, the U.S. is in the process of ending our formal engagement in Afghanistan and withdrawing troops. This discussion topic provides a reflection on the U.S.s role in global politics, as well as our goals in foreign policymaking.
