Based on your options below, students will choose one topic, and will watch at least six episodes of the two shows associated with that topic. A streaming account is required, but students may sign-up for trials depending on the service, which is highly recommended. The paper will include
(a) an overview of each show,
(b) at least four comparisons to what we have discussed in class and relevant research in the area

Topic options:
o Forensic evidence: Dexter* and CSI#
o Detective work: Criminal Minds* and Psych^
o Correctional Systems: OITB* and Prison Break#
o Policing: Blue Bloods*# and Brooklyn 99#
o Drug use and dealing: Breaking Bad* and Weeds*

-Will need access to NETFLX, HULU or AMAZON PRIME
-At least 4 academic sources, including a reference page
