The purpose of the Group term project paper is to apply the knowledge you have acquired in the class over the semester. The topic for this assignment is your choice within the area of Health Management and Policy. This is 15% of your course grade.
Each paper must address the following components:

1. Public Health or Health Policy issue under consideration

b. Describe the issue you intend to address in the paper.
c. Rational for your topic/issue

2. Literature Review
a. Describe why this has become worthy of national attention. This should include
a history of the issue or problem, and why it has become important.
b. Provide geographic representation of the issue
c. Describe relevant facts, research or statistics, which are important to
understanding the nature of the issue you are addressing.
d. Special population at risk: e.g. SES, age, gender, ethnicity, etc., if any
e. Research hypothesis for study, with justification
f. Methodology to be used and data sources

a. Describe what has/is been done to address the issue under consideration
b. State at least one policy option to solve the issue or problem. These may be from
the literature or your own original ideas. Describe the strengths and weaknesses

this is the preferable way to address the issue or problem you have raised.
