For this week’s assignment, you will develop a training for mental health professionals. Imagine you were asked by a director of a mental health agency to provide continuing education training on risk assessment and safety planning for their therapy staff.

Based on this week’s resources and others you have located, develop an 8 to 10-slide PowerPoint presentation that addresses the following:

Describe the purpose of a risk assessment.
Identify the types of risk.
Address cultural variances in risk assessment.
Explain how to conduct a risk assessment.
Discuss your state-specific reporting requirements.
Describe how to create a safety plan.
Identify additional resources for risk assessment and safety planning.
Your PowerPoint presentation should include audio of your presentation and presenter notes. Support your presentation with at least three scholarly resources; include citations for quotations and paraphrases with references in APA format style where appropriate.

Length: 8-10 slides

References: Include a minimum of 3 scholarly resources.

The completed assignment should address all of the assignment requirements, exhibit evidence of concept knowledge, and demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the contecixnt presented in the course
