This assignment that is intended to help you assess the Project / Program management job market and the skills required to obtain a job in project management.
This task requires you to perfrom a Web based job search for two different jobs and to report that data back in the assignment.
The learning objectives are:
LO-1- Students to explore the job market
LO-2- Students to identify capabilities that they possess
LO-3- Students to find PM job specialties and explore commercial needs

Your task is to visit a few different job sites and explore the job market and desired skills to help you in your career.
Go to www.monster.com, or www.USAJOBS.Gov or any of your favorite job search web sites.
Find two jobs in the Program Management area or Technology management area that you could apply for at the end of this course.
No credit is given if you do not include the text of the job search AND A hyper-LINK to the site to prove it’s authenticity.
Cut and past the job descriptions in your response to this assignment response
For each job you must:
Provide a copy of the job descrption
Provide the link to the reference or entry on the site
State why you chose this job?
what data or characteristics that appealed to you
What are your qualifications for the job? – state several in priority order
How mych experience in each of the qualification areas and WHY YOU? – sell yourself!
State what skills you may be lacking to be the BEST/successful candidate
State how you would gain these skills that are lacking and can this course assit you?
What other development activities do you need to pursue to be the best candidate?
Other certifications, skills or desired areas of development.
The response should be 2 pages about 1 page per job.
Also be prepared to discuss what you found about the overall search experience.
