Script Writing

Please do not feel intimidated by this assignment. This project is designed for you to be creative and think outside the box. You are required to write a 5-page script.

Please make sure you include the following in your script: Characters, Setting, Stage Notes, and any pertinent information you would like your audience to know. You may write about the topic of your choosing.

I find it helpful to write about something that is familiar to you. For example, you could write about a particular event that was meaningful to you, an exchange you had with someone, or perhaps an exchange that you have always dreamed of. Please let your imagination go wild here and make your characters lovable, despicable, unique, etc.

Feel free to email your class and find someone that will proof-read your script and you offer the same in return. You may record and make a video of your script for your final project. If you chose to do this, please make sure to read the details carefully and talk to your instructor ahead of time.

There is no set writing format you need to follow while writing your script.
