There are 8 quizzes and a final exam. The information is in the content of the e-text and or the best answer with using your critical thinking skills.
There is a final project which is a Business Plan that is required to complete for the course. Stating this there are four steps to the process. Three steps and then the submission of the final Business Plan. So, each step is part of the whole Business Plan. Each step is a different section of the Final Business Plan assignment. Most of you have never done a Business Plan. So, here is how it is graded: Complete each section that is due in each 3 step assignments and receive the 25 points when it is completed. Completing each section may still need work but your Instructor will give you things or ideas to add to those sections without deduction of points because it is a learning process. So, what does this mean; submit the work get the points, submit nothing and get zero points. When you submit the Final Business Plan you add all the steps into one document and add in your executive summary;
Which should include the following parts;
Executive Summary
This section is a summary of the information from the pages that follow. Prepare it last, after the business plan has been written. It should not exceed two pages. Headings to use in the Executive Summary:
Vision/Mission Statement
Company Summary
Products/Services
Market Assessment
Strategic Implementation
Expected Outcomes
You add it all together and submit all 4 steps for your final submission. If you submit this assignment just by adding the completed steps and your completed executive summary you will receive anywhere from 80-89 points. If your Instructor has given you pointers and you have included them in your completed Final Business Plan you will receive the full 100 points. If you submit nothing but the template of questions for the Business Plan with little to no information you get 0-25 points.
(Executive Summary: This is a summary of sections of the Business Plan) A financial institution does not have time to read 50-75 pages of a normal Business Plan. They will read the Executive Summary to get the idea of what you are trying to accomplish in your business. This section should not be any more than 2 pages or less than 1 page.
The reason the Business Plan is created in the first course of the Business Management Program is to prepare you for the next steps of the learning process. This assignment (Business Plan) can be added to for the next course in the program and so on. Save this Business Plan because it will save you from developing it again for your final course Business Management Capstone Course.
This assignment is worth 85 points. In this assignment introduce yourself to the class. Tell us where you are from and what is your dream job and what degree you are pursuing. The final part of this assignment is to state you understand the requirements for the course.
