Pre-Writing Activities

Visit the Library by selecting the Library link under Academic Tools.

Once in the Library, look to the left under “Library Resources” and scroll down until you reach “Library Help.” Select “Library Training and Videos” and view and listen to the videos and tutorials located in this area.

Using either the ABI/INFORM or the Business Source Complete article database, locate a full-text article (minimum 5 pages) by searching for one of the topic phrases listed below:

Virtual teams
Workforce motivation
Social media in business
Professional networking
Apply a combination of reading and note-taking strategies you read about this week as you read the article and identify at least three key points covered in the article. Note: Your article’s publication type must be an academic journal or periodical. (Tip: Go to the PG Library and then to the bottom right, below the Library search bar, select “Peer reviewed.”)
