Curate an exhibition in a museum gallery. Choose a theme and an art historical period or movement and borrow existing works of art from some of the museums we have explored together or which you visited during independent study. You should use approx. 8-10 works of art. Give your exhibition a catchy title and write a 250-word abstract explaining its focus and aim to the museums visitors. Then, each image will need an explanation, i.e the subject matter and how it represents the theme. A template is attached.

You may not include images used in class and in our textbook. Include tombstone information for each image.

To create your virtual exhibition, you can make a PowerPoint Presentation/Keynote slideshow in which each slide represents a wall in your gallery. Place the images of the works of art you would like to show on the slide as if it were a museum wall. You can also change the color of your slides if that helps to set a tone or mood for your exhibition.
