Write a paper discussing the contemporary issue’s significance in your chosen emphasis area while also discussing the topic from the point of view of your personal leisure philosophy.

Determine what your personal leisure philosophy will be. The key here is to establish a lens that you will use to examine your research topic. (Use Hedonist/Individualist Approach or Quality of Life Approach).
Then you will pick a contemporary issue within one of the PRST emphasis areas that you are interested in. For instance, you might want to further explore the dynamic of sustainable travel and tourism. (Use Sport or Tourism)
Once you have chosen your contemporary issue and emphasis area, you will source scholarly/academic articles on that topic. After reading them, you will integrate the academic information you have learned (facts, figures, theories, etc.) into a 3-page paper discussing the contemporary issue’s significance in your chosen emphasis area while also discussing the topic from the point of view of your personal leisure philosophy.

In your research topic paper make sure to:
State your chosen contemporary issue and emphasis area
Present the contemporary issue and state how that issue can be approached from your personal philosophy of leisure
Cite your journal sources. You are required to have at least five sources (listed on your reference list), with a minimum of three scholarly research articles required. You must cite all five sources in your paper.
Concisely demonstrate an understanding and application of the concepts taught during this course. Concepts should be integrated into your own insights.
In-depth discussion and elaboration in all sections of the paper
Tie together information from all the sources. While you must use headings to separate the different sections of your paper, your writing should flow from one issue to the next without relying on the headings.
