Respond to a colleagues from the perspective of an interested stakeholder for the program by doing the following:
1. Provide a brief description of the role that you are taking.
2. Provide an evaluation of the group research design that they have chosen, and criteria that your colleagues have generated (choice of outcome and method of evaluation) from the perspective of the stakeholder whom you have chosen.
3. Provide support based on your evaluation
4. Ask questions about the plan for research design and the questions that the evaluation plan will address from your chosen perspective.

Discussion: Use of Group Designs in Program Evaluation
Group Research Design
The group design that may benefit the foster parent training program is the one-group post-test design. This design is valuable in measuring the beginning exploration of program impacts (Dudley, 2020), the program is being implemented in numerous settings with little to no research available to the researcher (Plummer et al., 2014). This design is of particular benefit, as the training/intervention in question is going to be implemented immediately (Plummer et al., 2014). One group posttest-only design will meet the needs because this design takes less time (Dudley, 2020). Outcomes are an important starting point for program evaluation. A common myth is that service providers know what their clients need without evaluation (McNamara, 2006).
Criteria to be Measured
Criteria that will be measured will be tied to the primary goals listed for the new training program including reducing foster placement disruptions, improving the quality of services delivered, and increasing child well-being through better trained and skilled foster families (Plummer et al., 2014). The particular criteria will include if parents feel equipped to provide placement without disruption, what ways the quality of services has been altered, and specific areas of training and skills for foster parenting.
Collection
Questionnaires will be utilized for information gathering and analysis. Questionnaires are timely and gather a lot of information in a nonthreatening way (McNamara, 2006). The information will be gathered by the instructors after the intervention/training.
