2. Does Plea Bargaining undermines criminal justice by withdrawing individual rights to fair trials? Criminal justice v.s. Social Interest
3. Should plea bargaining be abolished? Given the limited resources in society and the prevalence of plea bargaining, how to improve the mechanism of plea bargaining so as to balance the rights of the individuals and societal interests (public order)?
The stance of this essay: Plea Bargaining is necessary for misdemeanor cases instead of felony cases in order to preclude the overburdening of the criminal justice system. However, it should be regulated (Crime Control in Due Process).
